Zach Birdsall
is a New Jersey raised, New York City based Singer, Actor, and Multi - Instrumentalist. Zach’s notable credits include Melchior in Spring Awakening, The National Anthem Singer at the December 2019 DNC National Debate, Joshua / Favorite Son in Green Day’s American Idiot, and Tamino in The Magic Flute.
Zach’s other credits include Roger in Rent, Don Basilio / Don Curzio in The Marriage of Figaro, Bobby in the industry reading of Reaching Glory , a new Lady Gaga Jukebox Musical, Tenor 1 in Sondheim; Putting it Together, and The Tribe in Hair. Zach also has over 10 years of choral music experience with category-winning ensembles at the World Choir Games and Collegiate level ensembles.
Zach has worked professionally as a performer since 2018 and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2021. Zach currently trains privately with Dr. Veera Asher in Voice and with Denis Lambert in Acting. Zach also currently trains at TSchreiber Studio in Acting, at Denis Lambert Studio in Musical Theater, and at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in Ballet, Theater, and Tap. Additionally, Zach trained in Classical Voice at the Salzburg Festival with the University of Miami in 2018 and attended Berklee College of Music’s Singer-Songwriter summer program in 2017.
Zach is a strong mover and his special skills include, sight-reading, a formally trained ear, piano, guitar (Electric, Acoustic), Beatboxing, musical improv in Voice and Guitar, music production, live audio setup, Meisner, Strasberg, stage lifts, stage fighting, basic jumps, turns, and social media marketing.
